LIFE is a DANCE if you take the STEPS. This is my DANCE. The story of my LIFE.

Dancing is moving to the music without stepping on anyone's toes, pretty much the same as life.

Lumpiang Prito with Ground Pork and Toque

on September 9, 2015

I wanted to cook something healthy out of Kamote / Camote so I tried this new recipe I got from another blog. =) I’m not fond of Lumpiang Prito but it’s Hubby’s favorite so, why not try cooking it. =)

Cooking Oil

Garlic and Onions Minced

1/4 Kilo Ground Pork

1 Medium sized Camote thinly sliced

1 Medium Carrot thinly sliced

1/4 cup of water

6 pieces of Baguio Beans Thinly Sliced

4 cups of bean sprouts

Salt and Pepper

Spring Roll Wrapper

  1. Heat the pan. Add oil, onions and garlic.
  2. Add the ground pork and pour in the fish sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the Kamote. Add water and cook until it is tender and most liquid is absorbed.
  4. Add carrots and baguio beans then cook for another 1 minute.
  5. Add bean sprouts and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from the pan and drain the excess liquid.
  8. Put the mixture in the wrapper.
  9. Fry until it’s golden brown.
  10. Drain on a wire rack. (I prefer draining the excess oil in a wire rack than tissue).
