Lunch Date at Banapple Pies and Cheesecakes

Going to Market-Market that day was actually unplanned. My in laws went there to shop because they had an on going sale so we decided to go with them.

Hubby picked me up at work and we had breakfast at Sinangag Express at Gil Puyat. It was our first time to eat there TOGETHER.

Daddy had Tapsilog and I ordered Chosilog. The food was great and affordable. The chorizo tastes like Jollibee’s.

After breakfast we went to Alphaland for the Toy Bazaar. Luckily we were able to find a perfect Christmas gift for Aidan. We’re so excited to give it to him. For sure he’ll be happy. =)

We then went to Market-Market to meet Aidan and my in laws. We shopped for Christmas presents and had lunch at Banapple Pies and Cheesecakes.

Hubby and I had always been wanting to eat at there. However, their branches were only located in the North (Katipunan, Tomas Morato) before.

Good thing they opened a new branch in Market-Market. =)

Banapple is a bakery cafe that serves freshly-baked pies, cheesecakes and desserts, as well as good food and coffee.

It was also our 7 years and 11 months of being together so It was like a simple celebration. =)

Baked Creamy Cheesy Penne
(PhP185.00)

-A well-loved dish of white cheese sauce and meaty tomato sauce, with al dente pasta and sauteed hungarian sausage, served with pesto bread

Banapple Smoothie

Boneless bangus ala pobre
(PhP175.00)

-Creamy fillet of bangus belly, marinated in a speacial sauce, coated in a light crisp batter, and topped with fried garlic and soy-honey glaze, and served with glazed butter carrots

Hickory smoked barbecue country ribs
(PhP185.00)
-Extra tender country ribs grilled in hickory smoke, glazed with homemad hickory barbecue sauce, served with corn relish

-Tender cubes of rib-eye steak and sliced mushrooms, perfectly seasoned and smothered in garlic pieces and special brown sauce; served with glazed butter carrots

We were supposed to try their famous cheesecake after our lunch but we were so full that we just ordered Banapple Sweet Bread (PhP145.00) for take out.

I love their food. Big servings and the taste is superb. A great value for money. =) We will definitely go back there to try the other items in their menu. =)\
