LIFE is a DANCE if you take the STEPS. This is my DANCE. The story of my LIFE.

Dancing is moving to the music without stepping on anyone's toes, pretty much the same as life.

Ginisang Pork with Langka

on August 8, 2012

In our province in Iloilo, we always cook different kinds of dishes using Langka (Jack Fruit). Here’s one dish that my Nanay would always cook for us. But I don’t know what’s the name of this dish. So let’s just call it – Ginisang Pork with Langka. =)

2 tomatoes – sliced into 4
1/2 garlic – diced
onions – diced
1/4 kilo Pork – Menudo Cut
1/4 kilo Hilaw na Langka or Jack Fruit
4 cups of Water
Cooking Oil
1 pack of Magic Sarap
1 Pork Cube

How to cook:

1. In a small pan, add water.
2. Boil langka in about 10 minutes or until it becomes soft.
3. In a small pan, add the cooking oil.
4. Saute garlic, onions and tomatoes.
5. Add the pork and the pork cubes.
6. When cooked, add the boiled Langka together with the water.
7. Add Magic Sarap to taste.
