Filipino Style Spaghetti

Ingredients:

Cooking Oil
1/2 Onion – chopped
Garlic – chopped
1 small carrots – chopped
1/4 green bell pepper – chopped
1 can mushrooms
3 laurel leaves
1 cup ground beef
1/4 liver – sliced
3 hotdogs – sliced
2 fresh tomatoes – boiled and finely chopped
500 grams Spaghetti Sauce
500 grams Spaghetti Noodles
154 ml evaporated milk
Thyme
Salt and Pepper
2 tbsp Flour
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp knorr seasoning
5 cups of water
Grated cheese

Procedure:

1. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions.
2. In a sauce pan or wok, saute onions and garlic in cooking oil.
3. Add the carrots and the mushrooms and cook for about 3 minutes.
4. Add the laurel leaves.
5. Add the ground beef and liver.
6. Add the flour and mix well.
7. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
8. Season with Thyme, Salt and Pepper.
9. Add the beef cube, bell pepper and hotdogs
10. Add spaghetti sauce, chopped fresh tomatoes and the pasta water.
11. Add the sugar and knorr seasoning.
12. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
13. Taste.
14. Add the milk.
15. Serve with the cooked spaghetti noodles and grated cheese on top.

    I still prefer homemade spaghetti. =) lalo na kapag si hubby nagluto. He makes sure na may vegetables talaga na maliliit para healthy parin. =)
