Traditional Way of Cooking Nilagang Baka

1 kilo Beef knuckles or short ribs
1 large Onions
3 meduim sized carrots
3 Potatoes
Salt and Pepper for seasoning

How to Cook:

1. Place beef in a pot together with onions, celery.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Skim off the scum that floats.
5. When soup is boiling, lower the heat to a very slow simmer.
6. Let it simmer for 8-12 hours.
7. Add more water as needed.
8. Adjust seasoning as needed.
9. Add the carrots, potato and pechay.
