LIFE is a DANCE if you take the STEPS. This is my DANCE. The story of my LIFE.

Dancing is moving to the music without stepping on anyone's toes, pretty much the same as life.

Honey Garlic Glazed Meatballs

on June 17, 2012

As I was browsing the website of Readers Digest Asia , I found this super yummy meatballs recipe. Since all the ingredients are available in the Philippines, I thought of cooking this on Father’s Day.

A perfect Father’s day treat for our sweet Dada.

Hubby and Aidan.

(22 servings)

2 eggs
180 ml milk
110 g dry bread crumbs
85 g finely chopped onion
10 g salt
910 g ground beef
12 g garlic cloves, minced
15 g butter
180 ml ketchup
120 ml honey
45 ml soy sauce

1.In a large bowl combine eggs and milk. Add the bread crumbs, onion and salt. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
2.Shape into 2.5 cm balls. Place in two greased 40 cm x 25 cm x 2.5 cm baking pans. Bake, uncovered, at 200 degrees Celsius for 12-15 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
3.Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, saute garlic in butter. Stir in the ketchup, honey and soy sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
4.Drain meatballs; add to sauce. Carefully stir to evenly coat. Cook for 5-10 minutes.

This was a success. My first time to use the oven. =)  I’m so glad Aidan and hubby liked it.
