LIFE is a DANCE if you take the STEPS. This is my DANCE. The story of my LIFE.

Dancing is moving to the music without stepping on anyone's toes, pretty much the same as life.

Aidan’s Kung Fu Panda Party

on September 9, 2010

Lay-out & Design by Me
Kung Fu Panda and Chinese Theme

Avida Towers Clubhouse
Aidan’s 1st birthday was a blast! After all the sleepless days, little fights with Mike on things we need to plan and do, my father’s unexpected hospitalization, the Mumps on my left neck and kung ano ano pa… natuloy parin ang birthday ng ni Aidan.
The weather was really not that good. It’s windy and rainy. But still… some of our family, friends and close relatives were able to come to celebrate with us.
My Family is in Iloilo and my father was hospitalized due to CVD bleed so they culdn’t come. But my sister and pamangkins were there.
We arrived at the venue 4hrs before the party. We had to decorate the place pa kasi. No specific idea on what to do with the Chinese lanterns that we made the day before. Basta kinabit nalang namin dun sa venue. hehehe Thanks Ate Tin and Kuya Dennis for the venue.
The caterer arrived around 2pm. Nakakainis because we specifically informed them that we had a motif and we only wanted to see RED, BLACK and WHITE colors on the party. When the balloons arrived multi-colored siya! Wow!!! Ang galing… It was our caterer (Lins catering) who made the balloons. Nakakainis but we didn’t have a choice anymore. hindi na rin ako uulit sa kanila.
The table set up was good. I love it! Although hindi ko na nagawa ung centerpiece ko kasi masyadong malaki ung table para sa chinese lunch box ko. Sayang… maganda pa naman sana .
Ang cute ng cake. I made the lay-out myself. Tita Belina gave us a 30% discount and Ate Tin paid the remaining amount.
We were not able to serve the cake kaya kami na umubos lahat. Good thing I went home to Iloilo the next day so I brought half of it.

Around 3pm naman dumating na ung clowns/magicians. Then ung technician for the projector.
We hired Hubert’s Clown. So far they were the cheapest na nakita ko sa internet. And madami na nag ha hire sa kanila. In fact ilang beses na silang na feature sa Unang Hirit and Q Tv.
After 3hours of preparation the venue everything was all set for the party! For the first time I was able to make a balloon arch. Saved money  kasi ang mahal pag nagpagawa pa kami. Hindi nga lang siya naka arch kasi wala nang space. So we placed it on the venue entrance.
Nice dba? Hehehe
I also designed the table for Aidans cake, souvenirs, loot bags, prizes and Aida’s priceless photos from The Picture Company.
All set na for the Party!
Magaling sana ung clown. Kaso boring ang kids. Hehehe. Buti nalang andun si Bibay. Ewan ko ba sa mga batang sumali. Parang takot sa clown. =)
The food was good. Sulit and chocolate fountain sa mga bata. Hehehe. Thanks Mama for the additional spaghetti from Ambers!
Before the party ended, we played the slideshow. Ayan, nagkasilbi din ang technician. Hindi din nasayang and bayad ko sa kanya. Hehehe
Sulit ang puyat ko for 2 weeks para matapos ung slideshow ko for Aidan.
My hubby and I made the presentation. I was in charge of the lay out and design and he was in charge of the animation and music.
Success ang presentation. I’m sure they all loved it and wished na sana meron din sila sa party nila. Hahaha! (yabang!)
